Mike's ideal home

Mike is an adorable, twelve year old Labrador/Mastiff cross, who is the true epitome of the term 'Gentle Giant'. Mike is searching for a quiet home where he can chill out in his twilight years. He would like an adult only home where he will have the time to build a bond with his new owners at his own pace. He can be worried by children so anyone visiting the household would need to be over the age of 18. Mike has experienced multiple home visits with our canine carers, he settles in well and likes to follow people around the house for comfort. He feels at ease when people are around for most of the day, for this reason he will need owners who have no leaving hours to begin with, this can then be built up over time. Mike would like to be the only dog in the home but does well with walking buddies.

Mike is a super affectionate older boy. He loves chilling out, relaxing and receiving lots of love from those he knows. He is a wonderful boy to walk, and he enjoys having doggy friends out on his explorations. He likes to snuggle up on the sofa, cuddling up and then go for nice potters out and about. When Mike comes out of his shell he becomes more playful and will play with toys by himself or engage in play with others. He is a very cheeky, happy-go-lucky boy who is truly adored by everyone here at the centre!
