Dax's ideal home
Meet Dax! He's on the search for a forever home who can keep up with him and his constant on the go personality! Dax has come to us through no fault of his own but we have no previous history for his early life so we think he will need some help learning his housetraining. He is a crossbreed of two high energy working breeds and so will need new owners that can manage his breed-typical behaviours and keep him occupied to help him become the best boy he can be. Dax is looking for a family who enjoy hikes, adventures and/or would like to take him to dogs sports such as cani-cross or agility to keep him and his clever brain entertained. He is already clicker trained so would love to continue on building his skills. He is a big bouncy boy and needs to learn all his basic training from scratch, including how to walk nicely on a lead and travelling in a car.
Could you be Dax's perfect match?
Due to his excitable nature Dax could comfortably live with confident older children of 12 years and above. He loves meeting new people, new doggy friends as he is very playful when saying hello and when playing fetch with his favourite toys. Due to his age and no history of if he has been left alone before, he will need training on how to spend time home alone and that this is gradually built up once he's settled.
