Waiting list open for litter due mid-May, currently partially filled. This litter has been carefully planned for health, temperament, trainability and breed integrity. A correct stamp of Labrador and a true fox red shade of yellow, this litter is fifth generation breeding, with exceptional lines.
Dam (Mum) Highhouse Red Ruby of Wyngallow (By Drakeshead Fisk of Leacaz) is the most affectionate, loving, loyal bitch. As happy as a companion to spend the day climbing fells as she is at our feet in front of the fire. We also have her Mother, Flicker - she was accepted as a Therapy Dog in 2020, however due to Covid and then us starting our own family, we never fulfilled her accreditation.
Sire (Father) Highhouse Piros Mero, is an affectionate, intelligent, gentle and willing dog. He is keen, biddable and highly athletic. He is a true ‘family man’ and a real asset to Labrador breeding.
Both Ruby and Piro are DNA profiled and tested against all KC recommended health tests.
Ruby is 2/2 hips, 0 elbows
Piro is 3/3 hips 0 elbows
HNPK, PRCD-PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2 clear and annual BVA eye test – unaffected. Excellent EBV and COI.
This is Ruby’s first litter. Progeny from Piro & Flicker have gone onto become gundogs, agility dogs, assistance dogs, therapy dogs and of course fell and fireside companions. This litter will be no different.
Puppies will be born into a busy family home, living alongside children and other animals. They will be well-socialised before they go onto their forever families, to continue their socialisation and training.
