About This Dog for Adoption

Blu's ideal home

Blu is a fabulous energetic 9 month old Labrador x pointer who will make a wonderful addition to your home. He has come from a home where he has been loved and well socialised, he is used to having visiting children. He is very bouncy and sometimes forgets that paws should be kept on floors, so would be better looking for a home with any children being of secondary school age. He’d like an active home to keep him fit, healthy and busy, he is a mixture of very active working breeds, so will need a home that will match his energy level. Engage a dog like Blu in activities and training and you’ll have a companion to count on and a friend for life.

Could you be Blu's perfect match?

Blu is housetrained and once settled into his new home any time alone will need building up to make it a positive experience for him, He is crate trained and will chose to sleep in his crate and sometimes goes in to lay down throughout the day. Blu travels well in the car in a crate.
Blu is reasonably confident and we expect that his new adopters will take him home on the day they meet him at the centre near Penrith. He will need access to his own secure garden so he can zoom around and play with his favourite toys! He likes to destuff fluffy toys! (Giraffe is his chosen comfort toy – and he hasn’t DE fluffed this)
