About This Dog for Adoption
Max's ideal home
Max is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his clever brain busy and give him all of the love and care he deserves. He is a friendly bean who can live with older primary school children who understand that he is a bouncy boy and can be a little clumsy, children who can play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Max would like all of his adopters attention to himself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home. He could have friendly and playful walking buddies though. Max has a little training under his belt, he knows his name and will come to you when called. He is a smart boy and is happy to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat for encouragement, Max is strong on the lead so will need adopters who are confident with this. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden with high fencing for him to potter about and explore in. Max can settle in the home, so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Max will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Max's perfect match?
