About This Dog for Adoption

Luna's ideal home

Luna is looking for a quiet pet and child free home, after fighting with another dog in the home. She is house trained and can be left by herself for a few hours once she has settled in.

Could you be Luna's perfect match?

Luna is a bright young dog who listens to her handlers and is very trainable and loves to cuddle, but she has been returned to our care after fighting with another dog in the home. She can take her time to get to know people but warms quickly to those who are familiar to her and likes a gentle fuss and especially being towelled off after a wet walkies! Tennis balls are the great love of her life and certainly the way to her heart, playing with her and her ball is a great way to bond. Luna has been subjected to some harsh training methods, and it seems she has learned to suppress her emotions around some people, meaning that she gives very little sign of being uncomfortable in certain situations. To set her up for success, we would advise that she is kept away from other dogs and is always on lead in public places. Luna travels well in the car so it may be nice for her to explore some quiet places.
