About This Dog for Adoption

Xena's ideal home

Xena is a gorgeous 4 year old black Labrador who will need to be rehomed with her sister Luna. She is a little bit more shy than Luna, but comes around quickly when being introduced to new people. She loves playing with her tennis ball and will carry it around in her mouth when she's not asking you to throw it for her! She has settled well in our kennels with her sister, but can be vocal when she's stressed, so any potential adopters should be willing to build up her leaving hours over time. Due to being a little less confident than Luna, she is a bit wary of other dogs and would prefer a home where she and her sister are the only dogs.

Could you be Xena's perfect match?

Xena has as lived with cats previously, but due to her bouncy nature her new family would need to be experienced at introducing cats and dogs. Like a typical lab, Xena loves her sniffy walks, but is strong on the lead and can pull, so will need someone who is able to manage this. Xena is such a sweet girl and is happily working with her kennel carers on her dog social skills. We are confident she will become more relaxed around other dogs with time. Overall, Xena is such a sweet angel and we can't wait for her and Luna to find their new family!
