About This Dog for Adoption

Bruno's ideal home

Bruno is a one year old Labrador/Dogue De Bordeaux bundle of fun who’s guaranteed to bring laughter, love, and a little bit of chaos into your life (the good kind!) Bruno forms strong bonds quickly and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing — your shadow, snack inspector, and best mate all in one. Because Bruno loves company, he’s not a fan of being left alone for too long. Low leaving hours to begin with are essential, with plenty of time, patience, and reassurance to help him build confidence. A secure garden would be a dream home bonus for Bruno, giving him space to potter about, sniff to his heart’s content, and enjoy the great outdoors safely. Toys are another big hit — especially ones he can chew, chase, or proudly carry around. New people and new situations can make Bruno a little unsure at first, so an adopter with previous experience would be ideal to help him grow in confidence. Bruno has a bouncy, playful nature, so a home with confident, respectful children aged 12+ would suit him best. He’s been good mixing with other dogs and, while he may be slightly wary at first, he soon wants to play. He could live with a tolerant, fun loving dog who doesn’t mind a bit of exuberant puppy energy.

Could you be Bruno's perfect match?

Bruno is a proper goofball with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, and he absolutely adores his human friends. He’s a clever lad who loves enrichment, brain games, and anything that might contain food… or definitely contains food. Bruno is a certified foodie! On walks, Bruno can be strong on the lead, but he’s learning that good things (delicious treats!) happen when he checks in with his humans. Once he realises you’re a friend, though, Bruno warms up quickly and shows his affectionate, goofy side. Bruno is looking for a home where his people are around most of the time and excited to help a young dog learn, grow, and gain confidence at his own pace. He’ll need kind guidance, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement (did we mention treats?),but he gives back tenfold in love, loyalty, and laughter. If you’re after a big, cuddly best friend who will keep you smiling and make your house feel like a home, Bruno could be the perfect match. Give him the time, patience, and love he needs, and he’ll give you his whole heart in return 💛🐾
