About This Dog for Adoption

Peggy's ideal home

Peggy is a bouncy, bright Labrador puppy who is under a year old and full of enthusiasm for life. She is looking for a home with people who genuinely enjoy training and want to help a clever young dog learn all the basics. Peggy is a smart girl who loves using her brain, whether that is through training sessions, exploring new environments or sniffing out interesting smells on her adventures.

She could live with children aged 10 years and over who are happy and confident around very excitable puppy behaviour. Peggy could potentially live with slightly younger children that are used to living with very bouncy dogs and can cope with her enthusiasm.

Peggy is friendly with other dogs but can be a little over the top in true puppy style, so she would need owners who can help her practise calm interactions. She is looking to be the only dog in the home but would be very happy to have doggy friends to meet when out and about.

As a young pup, Peggy will need someone who can be around for her, as she does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. She is not housetrained in kennels, but she was in her previous home and is likely to just need a gentle refresher in a new environment.

Could you be Peggy's perfect match?

If you are searching for a fun-loving, instantly friendly Labrador puppy, Peggy could be the one to steal your heart. She greets new people and visitors with great enthusiasm and those bright, loving eyes make it very hard not to fall for her. Peggy adores attention, loves a cuddle and is happiest when she is being fussed and included in whatever is going on.

She is a true wilderness explorer who is super curious about the world around her. From sounds to smells, Peggy enjoys investigating her surroundings using her nose, often getting so excited that she bursts into happy zoomies. She also loves her soft toys.

Peggy enjoys learning new things and picks them up quickly, making training a really rewarding experience with her. She is relaxed around traffic, which is great for future adventures, although she is not yet used to travelling and will need a little help building confidence with this.

With her energy, affection and pure joie de vivre, Peggy is looking for a home ready to embrace puppy chaos, laughter and plenty of love. In return, she promises endless smiles, enthusiastic greetings and a loyal Labrador companion who will keep you on your toes.
