Verrad Labradors (5* Licenced Breeders) are very proud to announce the safe arrival of our first 2026 litter born on 18th March 2026. 

This is a repeat mating between Fortescana Gudrun At Verrad and Verrad Blossom. Due to the exceptional nature of the puppies from their first litter, we decided to repeat the mating, already these puppies are very confident and loving like the previous litter.   

The sire of the litter, Fortcastana Gudrun At Verrad, is a medium sized working yellow (fox red) Labrador, he picks up regularly in the shooting season, he is a calm, very loving dog, but who also has great drive and determination when working. He is health tested:

Hip scored: 5+2=7

Elbow graded: 0/0

Clear eye test

DNA tested 'clear' for all 7 Kennel Club required tests, prcd-PRA, CNM, SD2, HNPK, EIC, STGD and MCD

DNA tested 'clear' for a further 260 tests with the Pet Genetics Laboratory 

The dam of the litter, Verrad Blossom, is a medium sized working lines chocolate Labrador who is very calm and affectionate. She is health tested:

Hip scored: 3+4=7

Elbow graded: 0/0

Clear eye test 

DNA tested 'clear' for prcd-PRA, CNM, EIC, HNPK, STGD and MCD

DNA tested 'carrier' for SD2 (this means that Verrad Blossom 'carries' the genetic gene for SD2 but is not affected by it, as the sire is tested clear for SD2, these puppies can only be clear or carriers for SD2, NOT affected)

Verrad Blossom's sire is our chocolate stud dog, Saint Laurence At Verrad, a fantastic working dog who is here to view with the puppies and their parents.

These puppies are Kennel Club registered and have their own Kennel Club Five Generation Pedigree Certificates. 

All puppies will leave us with their Kennel Club registration document, Pedigree Certificate and will be insured for four weeks with Petplan.

Included in their Puppy Packs is a Contract of Sale, Puppy Information sheets (including information about worming and flea treatments received), vet check/vaccination card, microchip details and document, and a Skinners Puppy Food Pack. 

All puppies will be vet checked and vaccinated prior to leaving us. They will be 8 weeks old on 13th May, but we would prefer to keep the puppies until they have had their second vaccinations at ten weeks old ( 27th May) prior to leaving us. We are more than happy to discuss this.
