Our lovely chocolate Labrador Lyra has had her second litter of chocolate puppies on Monday 3rd June 2024.

5 girls and 2 boys. They will be ready for their forever homes from Monday 30th July 2024.

We have ONE girl left, "Mousse" looking for her forever home.

Mum Lyra (Pelecypoda Wheel Light Blue) and Dad Sam (OFTW Northglen Crumble) are both KC Registered and fully health checked including the following-

Lyra is a much loved family pet and working dog trained, who is very gentle, athletic, intelligent, loyal, obedient and eager to learn and please. Lyra is trained to the whistle and hand signals.

Dad (Sam) is Open Field Trial Winning Labrador (OFTW) with 38 Field Trial Awards one of the best working chocolates in the UK. (Received a B Qualification for 2018 & 2x B Qualifications for 2019 IGL Retriever Championships). He became the 3rd Chocolate Labrador to win an Open Field Trial in the history of working Labradors.  He has consistently been in the awards for the last few years.  Winning the Shropshire Gundog Society Open 2019 and Winner of the Utility Gundog Society All Aged Final Field Trial 5th January 2018, and  also awarded Best Labrador & Best Game Finder. With all this in mind, Sam is a very gentle and kind dog, very athletic and alert.

So we expect these puppies to be very biddable and easily trained by first time Labrador owners or capable of working to a high standard whether on a shoot or in working trials.

All the puppies will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and registered with the Kennel Club.

They will go to their new homes fully KC registered, with 5 weeks free insurance, new home information folder, collar with lead, a blanket with Mum's scent, their favourite toy and some puppy food to start you off and we will continue to help with on-going support and advice should you need it.

To socialise the puppies as fully as possible they will be brought up in a home environment getting used to all sorts of sounds and sights, as well as being handled daily. They will also be exposed to various floor textures, and as they grow they will be able to explore our large garden and will have their 1st adventure in a car when visiting the vets. They will also have met numerous adults, children and our other elder family dog.

We encourage you to come and visit Mum with her puppies, but those of you with a distance to travel we can arrange a video chat. Dad (Sam) can be viewed at his home by prior arrangement. Once you have chosen your puppy you will receive daily "pup dates" via Lyra's WhatsApp group.
