Toby's ideal home

Toby is a sensitive and enthusiastic boy who is looking for a home that will keep up his training and take him out for lots of sniffs. He does have his worries around both people and dogs so is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no visiting children to really enjoy his senior years, and will also need to be the only pet in the home. Toby will need a secure garden all of his own so he can enjoy lots of play in a safe environment, and will need a safe space within the home that he can retreat to if he needs time alone or if visitors are around. Toby takes time to build a relationship with people so will need any adopters to visit the centre several times before going home with them.

Toby is 9 years old and can’t wait to find his perfect match. If you are interested in training (he knows loads already and we’ll show you the ropes!) and have lots of time to play fetch then it could be you! Toby will enjoy a short fuss from people he has built a strong build with, but doesn’t appreciate it from people he doesn’t know very well. He has been doing really well with his dog mixes and can share walks with calm, quiet, smaller dogs. Toby still prefers quieter walking spots with lots of exploring to do, but he is happy to travel in the car so can go further afield for these opportunities.
