Description

Kilo's ideal home

Say hello to our cool guy Kilo. Kilo is a big, beautiful, bouncy boy who has now started his search for a new forever family. Due to Kilos bouncy nature we are looking for adopters who are confident and fit enough handling him and who will put in the effort training him. We would also need everyone in Kilos new home to be over the ages of 15 as he may be a little too much for younger ones.. He has so much love to give but needs a little help with his manners, he will jump up for hugs and as he is on the larger size this needs to be worked on as soon as possible. We think Kilo would be best suited to the only dog in the home but can have dog walking friends. A nice garden area would also be great to practice all his new tricks as well as using his clever mind to burn off some of that Labrador energy through enrichment activities. Kilo travels well in the car and loves to get out for a good sniff about and daily walk to meet friends. Kilo walks quite well on lead considering he is an excitable boy.

Could you be Kilo's perfect match?

Kilo is a 3 year old Labrador who loves people and life a lot. He will need adopters who have a keen interest in training and can handle a larger, strong dog. We know that Kilo would love to learn new things and there is a very mannerly gentleman in there, he just needs the right person to give him a chance to show it. We have also noticed that Kilo just loves people so much he really doesn't like being left alone so adopters will need to be at home all of the time at the start, until leaving time can gradually be built up. We know Kilo will make an amazing addition to that special family due to his zest for life and happy attitude. If you think you could give this wonderful boy a chance to show the world how incredible he can be then please follow the steps below to fill out an application form and don't forget to favourite him.

Labrador Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
