Boo's ideal home
Boo is a beautiful Labrador, aged only 7-months-old. Sensitive in his character, he can be shy when meeting new people and is particularly apprehensive around young children. Because of this, we feel he would best be suited to a home where the youngest family members are of teen-age. Boo’s perfect match would be with patient adopters who could support him with his confidence, while gradually building up positive associations to new places and experiences. He’s a playful pooch when meeting other dogs and is always eager to greet his fellow rehoming centre residents when out and about. However, not all dogs may wish to play, and Boo is yet to realise this. He would benefit from continued socialisation around other dogs, so that he can learn a variety of playstyles and appropriate manners. Boo could share his home with a well-suited dog who would be tolerant of his adolescent energy-levels, but is unable to live with any cats, house rabbits, or other small furry pets. A garden of his own would be beneficial, so that he can fully relax in an outdoor setting.

While Boo was very well-loved in his previous home, he came into our care feeling a little overwhelmed and it has taken some time for him to begin to come out of his shell. However, now that he is familiar with his carers he has blossomed into a sweet and playful little chap with an affectionate character. He loves to play with his toys— especially a squeaky ball and is starting to enjoy a gentle fuss from his favourite friends! Other than socialising and playtime, Boo’s other most-loved pastimes include investigating on a relaxing walk, tucking into a tasty meal, and participating in reward-based training.
