Bentley's ideal home
Meet Bentley, our working line 5 year old Labrador looking for adopters who love training as much as he loves learning and working his brain! He would prefer a home with more than one person and would love his own secure garden. Bentley does get stressed by lots of noise so will need a home away from busy main roads and footpaths. He will need to be the only dog in the home, including no visiting dogs, and can't live with cats or small animals. He could possibly live with children over 8 years. He can be left for a few hours once settled.

It's no surprise that the way to Bentleys heart is food! He's a super smart boy who loves training, usually to see what amazing treats are going as the reward! Bentley is vocal around other dogs and he will need adopters who are comfortable with this and to help with his training around other dogs. He would benefit from walks in quieter areas away from other dogs. He can also get quite distressed at louder noises including the doorbell, roadworks and people walking past the house. He's started some training with this which he is responding well to which again adopters will need to be comfortable to continue. Bentley is an affectionate boy and loves cuddles on the sofa so would love adopters where he's allowed on furniture. He's looking for adopters that can see past his dashing good looks that can give him the time and love that he needs with his ongoing training. Bentley is currently in a foster home and so isn't at the centre.
