About This Dog for Adoption

Pip's ideal home

Say 'Hi!' to Pip, the 3 year old Labrador! Pip came to us through no fault of his own as he was found as a stray, so we have a limited history for him. He can live with secondary school aged children or older and would be happiest in a home where he is the only pet, as he would love his own people to build a close bond with. He can eventually be left for up to 4 hours on his own, but this would need to be built up gradually in his new home as he settles in. Pip does have some medical needs that will be discussed with our vet team. Pip does like exploring new environments and would love a family to take him out to new places once he's built up his confidence!

Could you be Pip's perfect match?

Pip is more than happy to jump into a car, either in the boot or on the back seat, and is an excellent travel companion to go on new adventures. He's a smart boy that loves meaty treats, so even though he only knows 'Sit' so far, Pip would be more than happy to learn new commands and continue his training! He can be a little nervous when meeting people for the first time, but once he has an established bond with you he loves a good fuss and having some human company.
