Ruby is 1 year old Labrador, Looking for a patient adopter, who can help ruby settle into home life, and help her learn the basic in a fun and positive way.
She will need help adjusting to her new home and learning to express these natural behaviours in a positive way, learning alternative behaviours to jumping up.
Ruby has the potential to live with a dog savvy cat and Could live with children who are of the secondary school aged, who are used to big an bouncy dogs
Ruby would like her own garden, to be able to burn some of her energy off.
She loves meeting new people and will carry a toy, to contain her excitement.
She would like to be the only dog in the home but could have walking friends in the home once settled, she travels well in the car and her leaving hours could be build up slowly to 4 hours.
She travels well in the car and would love to go on lots of adventures with her new family.

Ruby came into our care through no fault of her own. Ruby is looking for adopters who would be happy to teach the basics and to help with house training refresher, Also to keep her busy with a variety of enrichment.

You can also add up to four favorites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favorites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
