Arlo's ideal home
Arlo is looking for a calm and predicable home in an area with quieter walking routes with loving adopters who can give him the time he needs to settle in, help him to build his confidence and advocate for him in situations he may find uncomfortable. Arlo is a sweet boy, but can be worried around strangers, so can live with children aged 12 and over who will play with him nicely and give him space to rest and relax when he needs. He could live with an established dog who will happily co-exist and will engage in occasional play. This will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity though, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. Arlo has a little training under his belt, he is eager to engage in training sessions, he would benefit from loose lead walking training. He will need a refresher on his housetraining, so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Arlo can be quite worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time, especially to begin with, any leaving time should be introduced slowly once he has had time to get used to his new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so he can relax and have a snooze! Arlo will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Lovely and dopey lad Arlo is a 1 and a half year old Labrador cross with such a sweet nature. Once he knows you he loves a fuss and will lean into you for more. He is a playful boy and loves any type of toys, he will happily play by himself or engage with his favourite people, he likes to bound around and chase toys if thrown for him. He loves a good adventure, especially in the woods, he likes to explore and sniff his surroundings. This happy boy is looking for his new home.
