About This Dog for Adoption

Houla's ideal home

Houla is on the search for her forever home with adopters willing to introduce her to the World. Houla could live with a specific dog in the home but she would also like to continue her dog socialisation out on her walks. Houla enjoys meeting new people and can have visitors over once she has settled into her new home. Houla can be left up to 2 hours for now but can be built up over time. She would like someone who will get actively into training. Houla gets overwhelmed by new things and would like someone to help build up her confidence through this. She can live with older primary school aged children in the home. Houla has some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Houla's perfect match?

Houla is a sweet and loving girl who likes being around her favourite people and showing off her love. She has bundles of character and will show it off when she has built up her confidence in her environment. Houla loves showing off her big smile and her waggy tail when she sees her favourite people. Houla has found the joy in toys and likes engaging in a game of tuggy. She knows her name, sit and paw and loves to show these off for a tasty treat.

Labrador Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Labrador Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
