About This Dog for Adoption
Cooper's ideal home
Cooper is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He can live with children aged 16 and over who will play nicely with him, leave him alone to eat and will give him space to rest and relax when needed. Cooper is a friendly boy and could live with another dog who will happily co-exist with him and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre. Living with another dog is not a necessity, he would love to have friendly walking buddies, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. He has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, he is eager to learn more in short, sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. Cooper will need a refresher on his house training in his new home so a private or communal garden is preferred. Cooper can settle nicely so would be able to be left for up to 2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Cooper is on daily medication and will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Cooper's perfect match?
Playful and friendly boy Cooper is a 5 and a half year old Labrador who adores water, true to his breed; if there is water he wants in, he can often be found splashing about in the paddling pool. He likes a fuss and will sit beside you whilst having a good scratch, if you hit the right spot he gets all wiggly, once he has had enough he will wander off. He likes to play, he will happily play with his favourite people or on his own, he loves to chase a rope toy. This wonderful boy is ready to find his new home.
