About This Dog for Adoption

Tailor's ideal home

Tailor is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his brain busy. He can live with primary school aged children who are confident with a large, playful dog and can give him space to rest when needed. Tailor can be a little frustrated around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home with no visiting pets, so he can enjoy all of his adopter’s attention to himself, he would be happy with friendly walking buddies to help him socialise. Tailor has a little training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit”, he is a clever boy and is eager to engage in training with the help of a tasty treat. Tailor would benefit from loose lead walking training as he is does he does walk at the end of the lead. He likes to potter and explore so access to a private, secure garden is preferred but not essential. Tailor could settle in the home, so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, he is only a pup still so this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Tailor will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Tailor's perfect match?

Super affectionate Tailor is a 9 month old Labrador/German Shepherd cross with a lot of love to give. This young lad is keen to explore the world around him, he loves to sniff and play; squeaky toys and balls are his favourite, he will bound around after them when thrown. He likes a fuss, especially a back and neck scratch, he will lean in for more, sometimes jumping up when excited. He is a foodie boy, he will take any treat on offer, but he especially likes soft treats and paste, he takes treats gently from the hand. This pawsome lad is on the look out for his new home.
