About This Dog for Adoption

Jet's ideal home

Jet is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his brain busy. He would like a home with quiet neighbouring gardens, as he can get distracted by outside noises. He can live with Secondary school aged children who understand that he can be an independent and busy boy and can give him space when needed. Jet can be a little frustrated around other dogs, when he first meets them, but once he knows them soon settles and happily co-exists with an established dog. Jet has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, he is a clever boy and is eager to engage in training with the help of a tasty treat. He likes to potter and explore in peace so access to a private, secure garden is preferred but not essential. Jet could settle in the home, he could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Jet will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Jet's perfect match?

Gorgeous lad Jet is a 2 year old Collie cross Labrador with a thirst for adventures and exploring. He loves to sniff and play; squeaky toys and balls are his favourite, he will bound around after them when thrown. He is a very busy boy so likes his fusses in short, sweet sessions, before heading off again on his mini adventures. This keen explorer is on the hunt for his new home.
