About This Dog for Adoption

Peanut's ideal home

Say hello to our gorgeous Peanut! She is a sweet girl who is looking for a family that can give her the time she deserves. If you are looking for a caring and loving companion who enjoys little walks and a snuggle on the sofa, Peanut is your girl! Peanut is very friendly and she would be suitable to live with older primary school aged children. Squeaky toys are her absolute favourite and she would happily play by herself. Peanut is a smart cookie and loves to learn new tricks, especially when some yummy treats are involved! Peanut is looking for a home with a garden where she could sniff and potter around, as she loves to explore with her nose! Peanut loves to say hello to other dogs and she would be suitable to live with a well-matched canine companion pending a successful introduction at the centre. Peanut will need to stick to shorter walks due to her medical condition. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
