Archie
About This Dog
Archie's ideal home
Say hello to Archie! He is a handsome, bouncy boy who loves people to bits, but doesn’t understand his own size. Although he is the friendliest boy, we feel he will be better suited in a home where everyone is aged 16+ and has been around dogs before. Archie can be a little bit over the top with other dogs, but he could potentially share his new home with a dog that matches his energy. This will be dependent on a successful meet here at the Centre. It would be beneficial if Archie’s adopters have some experience owning dogs so that there is an understanding of his boisterous behaviours. Archie has been left alone previously for a few hours and copes well. Any leaving time will need to be gradually built up once he has settled in his new home.
Could you be Archie's perfect match?
Archie is a typical bouncy young Labrador and has energy to burn! He loves adventures and playtime. His ideal adopter would be someone who can dedicate plenty of time to his physical exercise and mental stimulation through enrichment activities. He loves people and just wants to be included, but he is lacking in manners and will need some help through training on how to be more polite. Archie has a very sweet nature and just wants to show and receive love! He will make a fantastic friend with the right training and exercise/enrichment. If Archie sounds like the boy for you, please submit an adoption application and include him as a ‘Favourite’ dog. Thank you!
