About This Dog

Mabel's ideal home

Mabel is a lovely 3-year-old Labrador Cross Poodle with a gentle heart and so much potential waiting to flourish in the right home. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long before her sweet nature begins to shine through. Mabel is looking for a patient and understanding home that can help her continue building her confidence at her own pace. She would like to be the only pet in the home, allowing her to fully settle into family life, but she could happily enjoy having canine walking friends. Mabel would benefit from adopters with behavioural experience or those who are willing to learn, as she can sometimes display appeasement behaviours. Initially, she will need owners who are around for most of the day while she settles into her new routine and learns that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

Could you be Mabel's perfect match?

Once Mabel feels comfortable, her lovely personality begins to blossom. She is a sweet-natured girl who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts and is a joy to spend time with. Clever and eager to learn, Mabel enjoys having her mind engaged and would thrive with owners who enjoy helping her develop new skills and celebrate her achievements along the way. She walks nicely alongside polite dogs and would enjoy regular walking companions to help build her confidence. Tennis balls are also high on Mabel's list of favourite things, bringing out her playful side and reminding everyone that beneath her initial shyness is a fun-loving young dog. With patience, kindness, and encouragement, Mabel is sure to reward her future family with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and those special moments when her bright personality truly shines.
