Evie is a two year old Collie Cross with a lot of love to give! Behind Evie's nervous exterior is an incredibly sweet girl looking for an understanding home and patient adopters who are willing to go slow and work at her speed. She's a lovely walking companion who stays close by your side, happily taking in the world at her own gentle pace, and she's always keen for her adventures to continue. She travels well in the car too, making countryside walks an ideal way to explore together. Evie may need someone willing to go slowly at first, but she'll repay that kindness with quiet loyalty, growing confidence and a special bond that only becomes stronger with time.

Evie will thrive with adopters who understand that building trust takes time and who are happy to let her set the pace. A quieter home in a small residential area, with a secure garden to help continue her house training and give her a safe space to settle, would suit her perfectly. Evie would benefit from someone who is around for most of the day initially, allowing her to adjust gradually before being left for longer periods, and she'd love opportunities to make a few steady dog friends who can help build her confidence. She will need an adult only home or one with sensible older teenagers as long as they can recognise and respect her body language.
