About This Dog

Goldie's ideal home

Meet the gorgeous Goldie, a six-year-old Golden Retriever cross Cocker looking for a loving home. He could live with secondary school aged children, and he is looking to be the only dog in the home. Goldie has good history of living with a cat and therefore could potentially share his home with a dog savvy feline. He has no history around small furries or livestock. Goldie is instantly friendly with new people, fine with visitors to the home and could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. Goldie has history of not being happy when he is left alone and is seeking adopters who will provide him with the maximum amount of company. Any time left alone will need to be built up gradually. Goldie is housetrained and he travels well in the car.

Could you be Goldie's perfect match?

Goldie builds strong loving bonds; he is affectionate, loyal and loving. He is instantly friendly with everyone he meets, although he is not a fan of the vet. We would encourage his future adopters to help Goldie make friends with the vet gradually and positively. We call it ‘happy vet visits’, and our team can guide you with this. Goldie loves to be active, getting out and about for walks where he enjoys beaches, woods, and rivers. Goldie does not want much in the way of interaction from other dogs. Goldie enjoys playing and swimming in water. He enjoys having a game of ball with you, and after all that fun, Goldie likes to stretch out and chill out in your company.

Chilli's ideal home We have some beautiful, intelligent, loving, a tad nervous Labrador (possibly cross) pups looking for their new homes. They are siblings, 3 girls and 1 boy, and came to us through no fault of their own, and are looking for homes individually, either with another friendly dog, or as an only dog.
