Noah
About This Dog
Noah's ideal home
Noah can live with high school aged kids but will need to be the only pet for now until he has had more interactions with others. We have limited history for him and cannot guarantee that he is house trained, but his kennel is clean. Noah has cleared a seven foot fence so will need monitoring when out in the garden.
Could you be Noah's perfect match?
Noah is just a year old and everything you’d expect a Labrador to be! He is very strong on his lead so his adopters will need to put in lots of work on loose lead training. Noah loves fuss and affection but can be a little more worried by any formal handling, so making vet visits and grooming sessions as positive as possible for him will be key. When it comes to other dogs, we have found that it is best if Noah is able to mix with dogs that he is able to greet straight away otherwise he can become quite frustrated and vocal about it. Although he is friendly, we have yet to find a suitable dog to match his play style as he tends to be too OTT for any that are lower energy than him, but will then politely back away from any that are as lively or bouncy as he is! So, for now, he will need to be the only dog in the home whilst he practices making friends and works on his social skills. Thankfully Noah is both food and toy orientated, so tasty snacks will help with training and toy play will help burn off a few bags of that energy! As he is a very strong lad with a tendency to traffic chase, Noah must only be walked by adults and away from any busy roads.
