About This Dog

Billy's ideal home

Billy is a lovely, affectionate young lad who absolutely adores his people. He's happiest when surrounded by his favourite humans, always on the lookout for a cuddle, a bit of fuss or an opportunity to get some attention. A certified lap dog, Billy will happily spend the evening snuggled up on the sofa with you (even if he doesn't quite fit!). He's a playful boy who loves his toys, particularly a good game of tuggy or football, and enjoys learning new things that keep his clever mind busy. He's a bright young dog with bags of enthusiasm and plenty of potential.
Being just 8 months old, Billy is still discovering the world and can sometimes get a little overexcited when faced with new experiences. He's friendly with new people and makes friends quickly, although his enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of him and he may jump up to say hello! He responds well to guidance and confidence-building exercises, and will benefit from continued positive training to help him navigate new experiences and learn to channel his excitement.

Could you be Billy's perfect match?

As an adolescent dog, Billy will need adopters who are happy to continue building on the training he's already started at the centre, and who are committed to providing him plenty of daily exercise as well as enrichment activities to keep him busy. Consistency, patience and plenty of positive encouragement will help him develop into a well-rounded adult dog. Our post-adoption team will also be on hand to provide ongoing support and guidance as he settles into his new home. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful and intelligent young companion who will bring plenty of love, laughter and Labrador personality into your life, Billy could be just the boy for you!
