300 Labrador Retriever Breeders in the UK

Choosing a good breeder is not just about acquiring a Lab puppy - it's about giving your Labrador the best possible start in life. A good breeder will be genuinely interested in the health and well-being of their dogs, offer guidance once you've taken your puppy home, and respond to your questions willingly.

Before you contact anyone, we recommend that you read our guide on Choosing The Right Labrador Breeder. It explains what to do, what to ask, and how to spot the red flags before they become a problem - especially if you're buying a puppy for the first time.

I'm a small, dedicated breeder based on a family-run smallholding in the UK, where animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do. As a former Zoo Keeper at Bristol Zoo, I have always been passionate about animals and their welfare. After closing the family childcare business last year, so that my wife could return to teaching, I found that we had a perfect space available for dog breeding. We have a large conservatory room with doors which open on to a large private patio and garden, separate from the second family garden.

Luna is our family pet and is very pretty.  She is kind natured, well behaved, calm, loving and loyal. She is a pedigree and is on the Kennel Club register, where her lineage has Show Champion bloodlines. Our household is a family environment, so our puppies would be a perfect family pet but with the right training could be a show, assistant or gun dogs.

We are Labrador breeders in the north west highlands of Scotland, where our pups are reared in our living room and then given the freedom of our large garden. Our pups are well socialised and have had several car journeys and exposure to various desensitisation sounds, as well as the usual household noises. We are eager to find the most suitable owner matches for our much-loved puppies, so they
