Choosing a good breeder is not just about acquiring a Lab puppy - it's about giving your Labrador the best possible start in life. A good breeder will be genuinely interested in the health and well-being of their dogs, offer guidance once you've taken your puppy home, and respond to your questions willingly.
Before you contact anyone, we recommend that you read our guide on Choosing The Right Labrador Breeder. It explains what to do, what to ask, and how to spot the red flags before they become a problem - especially if you're buying a puppy for the first time.

We live and work on our life-long dream of a small holding in the centre of the Solway Plain, just north of the Lake District in Cumbria. After a university career in animal behaviour and welfare, what was once taught in theory is now applied in practice. Emma specialised in clinical animal behaviour, and now works with our local vet practices as a dog behaviourist, solving behaviour problems.

We have our own kennel club name Glebe Valley Labradors and have a Facebook page with all our puppies and owners on it. All our dogs are KC registered, vaccinated up to date, health tested to Kennel Club standard and we also have our dogs DNA tested. Some of our puppies have gone on to be assistance dogs as well as gundogs. They also make excellent pets. All our dogs are kept in the house and all

I have grown up with labradors. I bought my first show bred labrador in 2007. Despite being chocolate I had a great deal of success with Niamh, including gaining her stud book number. I kept 2 girls from her litters, Plum and Hope. Hope, sadly, never gave my any puppies but Plum produced my one in a lifetime dog, Goose - Dunnabbey Highlander. He gained a RCC in the UK then went to live in

Unlike many other breeders, I will keep my dog with me forever when she is older and can not have pups no more. Dog for me is a family member, not a money making machine. Health and happiness of the pups are my paramount, they get the best care and I expect no less for them in their new families. I had

We are not full time breeders, just a family who love the experience of raising a litter. We bred our beloved pet in 2023 and kept one of her pups. This is our second litter from that pup. So this litter can be viewed not only with mum, but also grandmother.

I have 2 fox red labs, Ruby (mum) and Dennis (son). Dennis is stunning and excellent natured dog. He is a social, happy dog who loves to be around other dogs and kids. He has a good drive for work, and has been training in scent detection work. His parents are both retired gun dogs both equally excellent natured dogs. Dennis is full health tested ⭐️ KENSESQUI STAYIN’ ALIVE
