Buster

Buster's ideal home

Buster is looking for a family to adopt or possibly even long term foster him as he has been at the centre since early March 2022. He needs a home where he is the only pet, and absolutely cannot be rehomed where there are cats as he becomes fixated. Children aged 13 and over will be fine with Buster. He is perfectly house trained and can be left for 4 to 6 hours once he's settled in.

Could you be Buster's perfect match?

Buster is the proud owner of the wiggliest bum in the centre! He is a glorious boy who's behind goes into overdrive when he sees his favourite people coming. He will usually run and get his blanket for us, and stands with it in his mouth like a puppy! Buster went home for a short while, but sadly had to be returned to us due his obsessive behaviours around the local cat population. Whilst in a home, he was impeccably behaved, would ask when he needed to go outside and was perfectly happy being left alone for a while. He doesn’t beg for food, sleeps through the night, isn’t bothered by thunderstorms and has incredibly good manners!
He's 11 years old but Buster is very active and loves to be outside, and is used to having a few walks a day, especially as he's such a hit with our volunteers too. He loves his toys and likes to play with his carers, but only drops what he's got if you have another one to trade! Buster doesn't know what to do with other dogs and seems more comfortable with the girls than with the other chaps. He is easily aroused by any kind of tugging game and can be vocal, so we advise to any game of that nature to be discouraged once he's home, as his arousal could escalate quickly.
