About This Dog for Adoption

Ruby's ideal home

Ruby can live with children of high school age but no other pets. She is house trained and will let you know when she wants to go out, but she is not used to being left by herself. She will need regular trips to a groomer.

Could you be Ruby's perfect match?

Ruby is a young Poodle cross who is a little on the shy side when it comes to saying hello, preferring to put her nose to the ground and get her information that way! This makes her very confident when going somewhere new, and she takes everything in her stride when exploring. We know from her previous family that Ruby loves to play football, but we haven't seen her ball skills yet, but we're sure they'll surface when she's ready. Ruby cannot live with another dog as she will start fights, but she can walk comfortably alongside some quiet friends who don't really choose to interact with her. She isn't used to being left by herself at home, so her new family will need to increase any solo time she spends gradually. She's going to make a wonderful companion for someone who is willing to give her the time she requires to settle into her new home and routine.
