Luna
About This Dog
Luna's ideal home
Luna can live with children of high school age but will need to be the only dog in the home although she can walk with calm dogs. She is house trained and should be able to be left alone for a couple of hours once she's settled in.
Could you be Luna's perfect match?
Luna is such a sweet thing but she's finding centre life a little stressful. She tends to hide herself away in her kennel but she's always excited to see her carers and will wag her whole body excitedly when she sees them approaching. Her nervous nature means she is sometimes apprehensive about approaching people to say hello, but we can see that she really wants to. If she's given a minute or two to get herself together, she is very friendly with people. Luna is a little cautious around people in hi-vis and is also rather noise sensitive. She would love a relatively quiet home that isn't on a main road. Luna enjoys the company of other dogs but we've noticed that she also can be rather avoidant at times. It all comes down to her confidence, she does so much better when she has her handler's reassurance and she has shown some playful behaviours with other dogs. Luna is likely to find living with another dog overwhelming just now but she should definitely be encouraged to make friends with other appropriate dogs that won't be pushy with her.
