About This Dog for Adoption

Samuel's ideal home

Samuel and William are a bonded pair of Labrador brothers with hearts as big as their paws! These gentle boys are looking for a loving home where they can stay together and be the only pets — they truly thrive in each other’s company. They can live with children aged 10 and above who are used to boisterous large breed dogs.

Out on walks, they’re calm and indifferent around other dogs and are happy to have walking friends of similar temperment. Samuel and William are not used to walking on leads and so are both very strong, they’ll need patient adopters to help them continue their training. Thankfully, they’re both brilliant in the car and happy to hop in for adventures.

At home, Samuel and William are settled and content. They can be left alone for up to four hours and will snooze peacefully until you return.

Could you be Samuel's perfect match?

These boys are true retrievers at heart and love carrying around their favourite teddies — it’s adorable and very on-brand!

They’d love a secure garden to explore and play in — especially William, who has a high prey drive for birds and enjoys watching them from afar.

If you’re looking for double the love, double the loyalty, and double the teddy-carrying cuteness, Samuel and William might just be your perfect match.

Labrador Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Labrador Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Labrador Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
