About This Dog for Adoption

Belle's ideal home

This lovely four-month-old Labrador, Belle, is a young pup eager to learn and find her feet. She will thrive best in a home that’s ready to embrace puppy life with patience, structure and plenty of time to guide her through those important early lessons. A house with a garden would be ideal to help continue her toilet training, and adopters should be around for most of the day initially, as Belle can feel panicked and frustrated when left alone and will need her alone time built up gradually. She’s looking for a home committed to ongoing training, particularly with lead walking, car travel and general puppy skills, and would suit a family with older children who understand what she finds overwhelming and can read her body language. Belle could live on the outskirts of a city or in a small town, coping with busier roads as a route to quieter walking spots, and she’s happy to socialise with other dogs when out and about. Visitors are welcome too, as long as introductions are taken at her pace as she grows in confidence.

Could you be Belle's perfect match?

Belle is a joyful, affectionate little soul who absolutely loves life and everyone in it. She greets people with a wiggly body and a huge amount of enthusiasm, happily soaking up strokes and attention. She’s friendly and excited when meeting new faces, often sitting politely to take a treat. Like many puppies, she can be mouthy when she’s excited or craving interaction, but she’s manageable and responds well to redirection onto toys. She adores carrying toys over to you, sometimes alongside a proudly presented piece of chewed-up cardboard. Playful, sweet-natured and eager to engage, Belle has an infectious zest for life and an activity level that will continue to grow as she does. With consistent guidance and positive training, she has all the makings of a wonderful companion who could offer affection, laughter and the special bond that comes from helping a young dog blossom into a confident, happy adult.
