About This Dog for Adoption

Scout's ideal home

Meet beautiful Scout, a gorgeous 3-year old Labradoodle looking for her forever home! Scout could be rehomed with another calm, polite dog in the home, pending a successful meet in the centre, or her friend Cookie! Scout can be a little worried meeting new people, so any children in the home would need to be at least 14yrs+. Scout is a very active girl, and would love a family that are able to take her for long walks, hikes and sniffy adventures! She is very good with her grooming, and is a foody girl so this will help with any ongoing training.
Scout is fully housetrained, and travels well in the car. She walks well on lead but can pull, so may need a little bit of work on her loose-lead! She would like a quieter home while she finds her paws, but would still like to be a part of the hustle and bustle once settled.
Scout has good recall, and loves to chase balls and retrieve them. She come around quickly with new people and loves a fuss, but can show some appeasement behaviours surrounding handling in a formal setting, so would need owners that are able to understand and listen to her body language when she needs her space.
Scout isn't too bothered around other dogs, so would thrive as an only dog but could be okay to go home with a calmer dog that also likes to do their own thing, or of course, Cookie!
We can't wait to see these girls thriving in their forever home.

Could you be Scout's perfect match?

Scout is a beautiful girl, who can be timid initially but comes round quite quickly once had the chance to have a sniff. Scout loves to go on her 5k runs, and will be looking for someone active who is able to ensure she is enriched both mentally and physically to keep her flourishing.
She is able to be left for 1-4hrs once settled, as she does like to chill out on her own. Scout would thrive with an understanding, patient family that are willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She will make the most wonderful companion, and we can't wait to see her lapping up all the love she deserves!
