About This Dog

Koda's ideal home

Koda is a sweet 1 year old Labrador looking for a quiet home with an active family. He can be a bit worried of new people and other dogs at first as he has had a sheltered life so far. Because of this, he would prefer to be the only dog in the home for now and for all children to be older secondary school aged and know how to read his body language. Like all young pups, Koda is a bouncy boy, who will benefit from structure and routine to help him settle. Once he gets to know you he loves a cuddle and a fuss but can get stressed being left alone so will need a family who is able to build up his time alone slowly.

Could you be Koda's perfect match?

Due to living a sheltered life before, Koda can be worried by some strangers and loud noises when out and about, so will need owners who are willing to work on building his confidence in these areas. He is very playful with other dogs, but can be frustrated and intense with his play style so is currently working on learning his manners with his handlers. Koda is young boy who loves his long sniffy walks and enrichment, as this keeps his brain busy and helps him to settle. With patient owners who can give him the enrichment and activity he needs, Koda will be the happiest, cuddliest boy in the world.
