About This Dog for Adoption

Freya's ideal home

Freya is looking for a home with a family who can give her lots of adventures and love. As she can be a bit bouncy when excited, she can live with sensible children aged 8 years and over who will be calm with handling and interacting with her as she's already got enough energy to give! Freya will not be able to live with cats or small animals due to excitable nature, but can live with another established, playful and friendly dog. She will need time and patience to learn the rules of a home and he will likely need housetraining, so her adopters will need to give her regular access to a secure and private garden to help her learn. She will also being required to attend our Dog School puppy classes, included in the adoption fee, due to her young age. Freya can be left alone for up to around 2 hours once settled in but this should be introduced once she has had time to get used to her new home and routine and ideally be after a walk so she can relax and have a long snooze! Freya will need to meet her adopters a couple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Fabulous Freya is a 5 month old Labrador Retriever with oodles of energy to go around! She is looking for a physically and mentally simulating home, who understand her typical breed traits and would be interested in signing her up to some fun activities, such as agility! She is bouncy, beautiful bundle of joy who will make the best companion for a lucky home!
