About This Dog

Luna's ideal home

Luna is a very sweet 4 year old staffy labrador cross, who has come to us through no fault of her own. She is looking for a home where she can be the only dog, but might be able to walk outside of the home with doggy pals once settled and following slow, careful introductions. She needs her own garden to chill and relax in. She hates the rain and wont go out in it, so adopters would need to be happy to entertain her and provide enrichment indoors when the weather's not great! She has previously lived with cats and enjoyed their company, and she is happy to be around young children from about 2 years of age as long as they are used to big bouncy dogs.

Could you be Luna's perfect match?

Luna is such a sweet dog, and will ask for fuss and cuddles, nudging you if you stop before she's ready. She wants to be around her humans at all times and is likely to want to share your sofa! Once settled and feeling secure, she could be built up to being left for a couple of hours. She does enjoy her walks (if it's not raining) but can be very pully, so might benefit from some loose lead training once she is settled. She loves her food and is currenly on a diet, and has already lost some weight having spent a week or so with one of our lovely foster carers. Luna is a big girl with a big heart, looking for a new family of her own - could you offer this lovely girl a space on your sofa?
