About This Dog for Adoption

Ted's ideal home

Ted is a 2 year old Labrador who is a bouncy, energetic and playful youngster. He can be worried and fearful of unknown people and dogs, which can result in him reacting to them. However, with some time, space, and some treats, he soon warms up and then he's super affectionate. Ted has been working on his socialising skills at the centre but would love to continue this in his new home. He'd love to have direct access into his own private garden where he can burn off some of his excess energy! This lovely Lab could potentially share his home with another dog, of a confident nature, and any children should be around secondary school age.

Could you be Ted's perfect match?

Handsome boy Ted is looking for constant companionship and any time that he is left alone should be gradually built up, especially during his settling in period. He loves playing with toys, his grub and heading out in the car to go on fun adventures! Ted is uncomfortable in the vets so would benefit from happy visits, and wears a muzzle for his checks. He also has some ongoing joint stiffness, which he receives daily medication for but our vets are happy to discuss this in more detail prior to his adoption. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.
