Lil can live with other pets and children of high school age. She has come from a hoarding situation and is unlikely to be house trained. She's going to need all her basic training, and patience and kindness.
Could you be Lil's perfect match?
Lil is a charming little dog who has had a very sheltered life up to now. She's looking for patient and kind adopters who can gradually open up the world for her, although we've already seen her grown in confidence in the short time she's been in our care. Lil has built wonderful bonds with her main carers and finds a lot of reassurance in them when she isn't sure about something. She would benefit from a low approach from people whilst she finds her paws in this strange new world. Lil has spent her entire life surrounded by other dogs and we think she would be more settled if living with another dog as she has never known a day by herself. Having a pal who is used to regular home life may encourage her to play and be more "dog".
